We are proud to introduce Julia Sumner to our school. She is our new Family Support Worker and she offers a range of advice and support to our parents and carers.
"As Family Support Worker for Larkfields Junior my role is to work alongside families looking at all the situations that may cause stress and strain and to find solutions. All families have points at which life can feel hard and it can help to have a neutral, non judgemental person to approach that can signpost help and support.
This is a role which I have worked in for a number of years and with lived experiences and being a parent myself I am a good source of knowledge." - Julia Sumner
